Our commitment
Ne'eman B'Israel is committed to making its website and services usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, and to providing an equal and dignified experience for all our visitors.
The standard we follow
We work to meet Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments). Our last accessibility review was carried out on [Date of accessibility review].
What we have done
The website includes the following accessibility measures:
- Keyboard navigation: pages, menus, dialogs and the cart panels can be used with the keyboard alone, and a "Skip to main content" link appears when you press Tab on any page.
- Screen readers: buttons, links and form fields have accessible names, form errors are announced, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Colour contrast: text colours were chosen to meet the AA contrast ratio against their backgrounds, and decorative gold details are not used as the only way to convey information.
- Hebrew and right-to-left: the whole site is available in Hebrew and English, and the page language and reading direction switch together.
- Text size: text can be enlarged using your browser's zoom or text-size settings without losing content or function.
- No flashing content: the site does not contain content that flashes more than three times per second.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible:
- Product photos and descriptions are imported from third-party retailers. Some photos may lack a meaningful text description, and some descriptions may be formatted in ways we do not control.
- Card payments are completed on a payment page hosted by Stripe, which is outside our control. Its accessibility is the responsibility of Stripe.
- Photos uploaded by couples, such as registry cover photos, are provided without a text description.
