Terms of service

Who we are
Ne'eman B'Israel is operated by [Legal entity name], a company registered in Israel under company number [Business/company number], with its registered office at [Physical office address].
These Terms govern your use of the Ne'eman B'Israel website, registries, and shop. By creating a registry, purchasing a gift, or placing a shop order, you agree to them.
The service
Ne'eman B'Israel lets a couple build a wedding gift registry from a catalog of home, kitchen, dining and Judaica items imported from Israeli retailers, and share one link with their guests.
Guests use that link to choose and pay for a gift. Separately, anyone can shop the same catalog for home delivery through our public shop, whether or not they're buying for a registry.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a registry or an account, and you confirm this, and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, when you sign up. A couple's account is created with both partners' names, a wedding date, and an email and password.
Choose a password of at least 10 characters; we may refuse passwords that are known from public data breaches. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
If you forget your password you can reset it by email, and from your Profile you can change it and sign out of your other devices.
Registries and content you upload
The couple is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of everything they add to a registry — names, wedding date, city, an optional personal message, and an optional cover photo. Photos must be JPEG, PNG or WebP files of up to 5 MB.
A registry's public page shows the couple's names, wedding date, city, personal message and cover photo, and the gifts on the registry with their status (available, reserved or purchased). Unless the couple switches it off under Profile → Privacy & data, the registry is also listed in our public search and upcoming-weddings list; either way, anyone with the link can open it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We may remove or decline to display content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate, and may suspend a registry pending review.
Purchases and payment
All card payments — for a registry gift or a shop order — are processed on Stripe's hosted payment page (Stripe Checkout). We never see or store your card number; we store only the resulting payment reference id.
The price shown for each item is its full price. No separate service fee is added at checkout, and shop delivery, where it applies, is shown separately (see Fulfilment and delivery below). Opening and running a registry costs the couple nothing.
Once a gift is in a pending or paid checkout, it becomes unavailable to other guests, so the same gift is never sold twice. A checkout that isn't completed is cancelled, and its gifts are released, automatically once it is more than 24 hours old. A single registry checkout can include up to 10 gifts, and we may limit repeated checkout attempts to prevent abuse.
Fulfilment and delivery
A purchased registry gift is held rather than shipped immediately. The couple orders each purchased gift to their home from their dashboard whenever they're ready; once the order is placed, we ship it to the couple's saved shipping address and email the couple when it ships.
A couple can remove a gift from their registry at any time while no guest is checking out or has paid for it. While a guest is checking out, or once the gift has been purchased, it can't be removed; a purchased gift remains recorded as a completed gift.
Shop orders are shipped by home delivery across Israel for a flat fee, waived above a published free-shipping threshold; see our FAQ for the current amounts. An order confirmation is sent to the buyer's email, and a shipping update, with a tracking link where there is one, when the order ships.
Cancellations and returns
Under Israel's consumer-protection law, you generally have the right to cancel a remote purchase within 14 days of receiving it, subject to that law's conditions and exceptions.
To cancel an order or a gift purchase, please contact us and we'll guide you through the process in line with the applicable rules.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from your Profile, under Privacy & data. Deleting it removes your registry and the related data described in our Privacy Policy; guests' personal details on completed gifts are anonymized, and only amounts and dates are kept for accounting.
If guests have paid for gifts that haven't shipped yet, the account can't be deleted until they have, so that nobody pays for a gift that is never delivered. Contact us if you need help.
Intellectual property
The Ne'eman B'Israel name, design, and site content (excluding catalog content owned by our retail partners and content you upload) belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Limitation of liability
We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not liable for delays or issues caused by retailers, carriers, or payment providers outside our control.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount actually paid in connection with that claim; nothing here excludes liability that can't lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service or the law. We'll update the date below when we do; continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute arising from them or from the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of [City], Israel.
